Yesterday at Singapore garden festival I bought a flask of violacea indigo from Mrs Wu. She told me tips to grow them.

She told me to keep it in the bottle for about two months until it reach a good size before deflasking it. Sounds simple enough right?

The problem came just now when I arrived at my apartment from the airport.

The agar moved and settled at one side of the bottle and some of the plantlets trapped underneath the agar

What should I do? Should I just leave it there for the time being or deflask immediately?

I think you can leave them in the flask as they are.
Check them every day for contamination.
Be prepared with the necessary material in case you have to take them out.
Good luck!

I would leave the flask on its side with the media down and just keep an eye on it like Helmut said. I have left them this way for months with no issues. I'm lazy that way. :-)

One has to wonder why Mrs Wu would sell a flask that she didn't feel was ready to deflask yet.

I have deflasked smaller plantlets then this due to contamination and they all survive.

I deflasked the bottle about a month ago, the survival rate is pretty high, I got 28 plantlets out of it and by far I only see 2 of them that struggle to survive
