Congrats on blooming this, not Bob. I didn't know they smelled like coconut - a big plus. Love your group shot. :)

One of my favorite non-phal orchids! Yours looks great. I have, I think, 6 different clones. I'm going to try them in s/h since yours is looking so good.

Very nice job !Bob.

thanks Ryan! in the summer i grow mine somewhere around the low end of catt lighting. but ive been told it can take alot of light, so once it acclimates outside, it will eventually get full sun. ill see how it likes that! for winter though, its 6" below 4 t12's. it doesnt get any special temp drops, i just keep it with my other plants and forget about it. lol. i try to keep the S/H reservoir full all the time though.

Good info, thanks. I have a Leptotes bicolor that I'm told should get cat light and I managed to bloom it again so I think my t8s will do it justice but it will be migrating outside once the night temps stop freaking bottoming out! Tis time last year I had a lot of my sturdy orchids outside enjoying the warmer months but this year the cold fronts keep moving through. Last weekend the snow level was only five hundred feet above us. Dang it! Lol I am not pleased with that. I want it warm during the day and pleasant at night, is that so much to ask?

!Bob - yes I got your PM. Only a couple of mine are named clones, and I'll have to wait till the flower to make sure, but I suspect that the flower will differ on each of them. Maybe not alot, but I'm pretty sure they are all from different original plants.

I've never seen the yellow form. If you come across one for sale in the US, let me know. I do want it. Years ago I heard about an alba one, but maybe that was the yellow one.
