So.. I picked this up recently at Redland and what I thought were growths were not, go figure. Here we are today.

Good find. It's great that you got a healthy plant and bloom so quickly. When I was 10 my uncle gave me a Cymbidium ensifolium. I received it in flower but couldn't get it to bloom again in the next two years.

No. I left my plants behind when I came here at 12. Most plants have no ID anyway. But I do miss first Phalaenopsis. It was a specimen size Phal aphrodite subsp formosana.
