Oh Sylvi, now I understand how you're able to hold such a big collection of orchids! ;)

 I have big windows and the help of artificial light during the darker months ;) - and we are both infected with orchid fever, that makes it much easier :D - greetings to Tallin

This is our home - not the big main building

Sylvi - that is a great looking home. I enjoy looking at big housese but I don't like to have to maintain them. :)

Fourth-generation Texan, spent most of my life here in North Texas. My background is mostly irish, Dutch, French, Welsh, and other. Bilyeus were among the French Huguenots who landed in New England in the 1630's and were spared the slaughter of Hugeuenots by Cortez in Florida. I am sure they were all orchid-lovers!

Originally from Hershey, Pennsylvania, but have since long left those rolling green hills. I now live in a small town just outside Denver, Colorado. You may find me struggling a lot with this environment. I'm above 6500' and find it a challenge at times with very low humidity, strong winds and then we have our blizzards and our hail and horrible thunderstorms, sometimes all in the same day. With that said, I love my mile high city.

Born in Texas, grew up in South Louisiana (yes, Cajun country), but have lived in North Texas since 1981.

Ha! My wife is from Campbelltown! Small world.

I was born in Portland, Maine but spent most my life stationed around the country's coasts; New London Connecticut, Cape Cod Mass, Seward Alaska, Hawaii, N'Orleans, Buffalo New York as a Coast Guard brat.

Now I'm landlocked near Longwood Gardens and Kennett Square; the mushroom capital of the USA.

Oh, and Pike Creek, Delaware, hence the nickname.

Cheers.
Jim
