Aussie Chip has 14 spikes this year.

Happy with the aggregatum. This is the first of several spikes to open. Only two last year.

Great job. Name changes.....
aggrevatum is now lindleyi (syn. aggregatum).

The friedricksianum is a very nice one and I like that your Aussie Chip's spike is more upright rather than arching.

Thanks Randy, The Dend. spikes tend to arch more as they age.

It's been blooming for a month now and hasn't lost a bloom yet. Love that one.

Randy -- based on a cursory look at the photo, would this now be lindleyi var. majus?

That's what we used to call var. majus. I'm not sure if it's still in use.

And Kipper, 6 flowers on a spike of Aussie Chip is good. Great job flowering this well.

It really helps to water only the pot, not over the top, to keep the spikes upright. The weight of the water on the flowers really makes the Latourias "nod".
