Zahrul, you have many happy Dendrobiums in your garden. You obviously are doing something right!

my dendrobiums are quite happy with me :) . I used to shade my dendrobium. Less spikes were produced. Recently my new orchid friends told me that Dendrobiums need more light compare to phalaenopsis. So I transfer them to the area with more light

Neither, just a term used when petals start to look like the lip. If you like ruffles, then it is a good thing. :)

fall in love with it the first time I saw it. the colour and the size. This is what I think. We buy an orchid because We like it , right :). Everybody have their own preference. When buying orchids with my friends, although they would say that the orchid is not a show quality, I still going to buy it because I like it hehehehe.

Yes, just because an orchid isn't "show quality" doesn't mean we won't fall in love with it. Many don't care about those kind of requirements.

You have a good head on your shoulders, Zahrul. :)

"Waterfall" lip on a Den. Unusual! Reminds of Miltoniopsis.
