Reorganized my growing area a bit. Everything now is by the South facing windows, humidifier is running when humidity is low and there is now LECA under the seedling rack. A half-cracked dome goes over this rack at night to keep heat/humidity in. However, vegetative growth on the smaller plants is still pretty non-existent..

Yes, I know there's a Paph in there.. hehe

Thanks, guys :)

So I caved and got some lights because the plants weren't growing that well even though they're at the South facing windows. I also reorganized a little, repotted the slow growing seedlings and I think I'm finally done messing around with the grow area. Hope they will like it!

Here's a look at the final version of the grow area:

2014 grow area update. There has been some ups and downs but this has been a great learning experience on how to grow phals indoors. I closed the blinds to take a pic, but it is normally open for some natural lighting.

The big round/oval leaves in the foreground are from gigantea x LD's Bear King, and are my absolute favorite foliage.

Yes, I do, Adrienne : )

It's taking a lot of self-control to not be buying more! I'm holding out for a few more species that have not been available...
