 Post subject: flasking media HELP! asap please!

HELP! im attempting to flask and i havent done anything yet but make the media. but already i need help. im using phyto tech p723. i mixed it with the correct amount of distilled water and then i heated it accoring to this. http://www.phytotechlab.com/pdf/orchidmediaguide.pdf number 7. the media is black and isnt getting and clearer. and the its still very watery, is it supposed to be watery?

HELP!

Bob,did you mix the medium with 100mi of water?if so your fine,the reason its black is charcoal is in the medium,it wont change color,just put your seed in and watch it germinate,goodluck,glenn

yes, i did. its working now. i just needed to let it cool and it solidifies


how solid should it be??
