Bob, best of luck with your cross. I have no idea what you should expect from it, but you should find out in what, 2 or 3 years? Where is the tag to que up Carlie Simon's "Anticipation"?

Good luck Bob ! :D

I know how you feel but it's a long journey, I just send in my pods after 120+ days and the lab techs said that it's looking good.

I am really excited !

Bob, the ovary should start turning green. Don't be disheartened if the cross doesn't take. If you have more flowers to pollinate, ask Meir for some more pollen. If you don't, start planning your next cross.

its more yellow green than the dark green that seed pods ive seen. if it doesnt take, i may have to ask meir for more pollen, he sent me 5 different 4n pollens. but this is the one that i liked the most... the other ones he sent are P. goldberry 'orchid konnection best' Am/aos, P. i-hsin sunflower 'm' Am/aos, P. Tainnong yellow butterfly, and Dtps. Sin-yaun golden beauty

Bob, how long has the pod been going for? Really, it might be a bit early for the whole flower to be green. I had a cross that held the orange/red color on the bud for almost 2 months before the flower really started to "green."

Are you talking about the column or the bud's stem? If you're talking about the column, does it look like it's swelling at all?
