Hi everyone,

How quickly time fly. The last time I wrote to ask for your help was 2 years ago. See this thread
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=11230

It's that time again that I am renewing phalaenopsis.net for 2 years. I like to raise $200 to help pay for the web hosting. I've added a donate button on the top of the screen. You can also make a donation by using this link below.

http://www.bigleaforchids.com/store/ind ... ts_id=2347

I sincerely hope that this appeal to 20 of you who find this forum useful, and that you would make a $10 donation to meet our goal.

Needless to say this forum cannot exist without the support of Big Leaf Orchids and its customers. My decision of not sharing the forum with bigleaforchids.com web hosting is because when one goes down (maintenance, etc) then both store and forum would be unavailable.

Besides the brief interruption earlier this year, I am pleased with our current web host for the forum. It seems to be running most of the time.

again, thank you for your consideration to help us keep this forum running ad free.

Peter

Ryan, sorry for my late reply. From Tapatalk, you can click on ... button in the upper right and select "Web View"

In the web view you will be able to see Donate button in the header. I think there is a way to embed Donate button in message thread but I haven't spent time to work it out yet.

A quick update. I apologize that I lost track of time. Weekend come and go. We had nice weather Sunday afternoon in the 70F. Yesterday and today we are now below freezing. I am so sick of this yoyo weather.

Since my last update we had additional donations and exceeded my goal. I appreciate you all very much.

Peter I haven't had a chance to donate yet but if I do will you be able to keep the donation for the next renewal?

Ryan, you are making this sound like a subscription. :) Your participation is not mandatory. You are a customer so indirectly you are already supporting this forum.

At the moment we already exceed my goal. So the site is paid for another two years. I haven't checked when phalaenopsis.net needs to be renewed. Normally I can cover the cost but it gets expensive - not to mention winter is my slow sale season due to cold weather.

Thank you Rakki for your support.

For our members who live outside of US who I don't have the pleasure to sell plants to, I have added you to the supporters group so you can view customer's only forum.

Again, I appreciate all of your support. It's a comfort to know that this forum is adding value, given that there are a lot of free information on the internet.
