Here is my keeper from Peters cross. I am in LOVE with it for several reasons. Aside from it's color and waxy substance, the flower is HUGE! I have not measured it yet, but this one has got to be the largest flower on my entire bench. For whatever reason I have a lot in flower right now, and this one could easily swallow everything I have in bloom. I've not smelled it yet to determine fragrance. I need to come up with a clever name for this cultivar, I will be trying to breed with it this week. I think Ben and I should do a sib cross with this one, and his really neat flower he bloomed.

Mike, I'd like to see yours crossed to YG 'Bulls-eye' as well as a potential sib crossing with Ben's. Both are really colorful and full flowers. I'd also like to see some of this get some extra love on some colchicine media...

You know it's a great forum when you search for "bellina" and it returns this from the server:
"The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words: bellina."

I am indeed lurking here, so thanks for the size info! That is amazing! What a beautiful flower, and extremely useful for breeding. I'm envious, as usual.

Color and form is improved on this next flower. Blooming in a different season, on a new spike.

Quite a difference. Do you think it is due to the cooler weather, brighter/dimmer light, or just age of plant?
