Sharky -

I ordered one also -- isn't it interesting that, even realizing that it is 3/4 Mituo Sun, this new cultivar looks like "#1' with the tiny little dimple at the top of the sepal...but more red. I can hardly wait to flower this babe!

Update - this is now available.

J-K6 Phal Miro Sun 'Jen-1' (Mituo Sun X Miro Buddha) $125 stem prop in spike

Just bloomed the first stem prop - it's gorgeous. Young stem but has a lot of potential.

See my URL makes sense now. It's search friendly. :D

So happy that Mr Jeng finally registered this hybrid.

For those wondering about adding this to your stable, I have some relevant and good news:

ROOTS!

This cultivar makes crazy long, thick, wonderful roots.

I just hope that it is fertile. If not, I don't care -- it grows great, and, for me, it all starts there: I do NOT care how fertile something is at this point in my life if it rewards me with flowers that do not require all four groups of fungicide/bactericide/et al. I start with...grows well (so much to choose from!), then I go on to other considerations.

This one might breed. Not sure, but we will soon know!!!

From its parentage it would likely be a tetraploid and should breed well with other 4n plants

yes, Phal Miro Sun 'Jen-1' will breed as pollen parent. Already has a hybrid plus more to come.

Phalaenopsis Miro Mosla (Zheng Min Tyrannousaurus 'Mituo Jen-1' X Miro Sun 'Jen-1')
