came across a flask of Phal Amboinensis 'Nicole' x Angraecum Sesquipedale for sale at LOC. The results should be interesting as according to OrchidWiz ( at least ), that cross is genetically impossible.

meant to add that there are 2 other crosses with phals in flask that are equally as whhhaaaatt !

Nothing is impossible as there is always potential luck within millions of potential seeds. The question will be if the plants will grow. And then if the plants will flower. Could be fun though

You know it's a great forum when you search for "bellina" and it returns this from the server:
"The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words: bellina."

This will be indeed an interesting stuff to grow and to bloom.
You can actually check the two following links that deal with such intergeneric crosses.

The first one, made by Ron Ciesinski (Taylor Orchids, MI), is Paraphalraecum Memoria Barbara Oviatt (Angraecum magdalenae X Paraphalaenopsis Kolopaking).
You will notice that the spur is absent and only a tiny protuberance in the label.
The plant habit (leaves) is reminiscent of Angreacum but the flower has more of Paraphalaenopsis.

The second one, made by Tsai Chi-chu, is Angraecum sesquipedale X Doritaenopsis Ruey Lih Beautyshares.
This shares similar features, yet the leaves look more like a Doriaentonopsis.

John, at LOC told me their Angreacum sesquipedale X Phalaenopsis amboinensis ‘Nicole’ germinated and the replates are done upon pre-ordering.

I am definitely giving these a try...

Yes Louisiana Orchid Connection (LOC) is doing a pre-sale
for 3 different intergeneric crosses between Phalaenopsis and Aerangis/Aerenthes/Angreacum
They anticipate that seedlings will be ready for summer 2015.

The two other crosses I described with links are not for sale anymore.
