Aaaaaah the much desired giant pink! I am glad you remembered my crazy love for it  . I'm not sure how we would organise meeting up, but if you tell me the postage charge I will gladly pay you! I only know for certain that I will see you at the London Show. By then it will be a beast  . Which ever option is easiest for you Francis.

Hahahah my collection is not much to see  , 40 plants under a grow light on an Ikea table with none in bloom  .Then there is the 20ish in my bedroom also doing nothing! It is almost embarrassing .
The photo pretty much gives you the tour, remove the flowers add about 8 plants and some babies and you have had the experience  .

Rakki, don't despair too much. I have only 6 plants in bloom in a sea of green. And by a sea of green, I mean 100+ orchids.

You have a very nice set up! Remember, no one starts with a multimillion dollar greenhouse! I too, have only a few plants in bloom out of 60ish phals.

Of my 60+ phals, I have none in bloom, but 2 in bud (Germaine Vincent and Timothy Christopher), but about 6 more with spikes. *Waiting, waiting*

If you want flowering phalaenopsis this time of the year, get Phal micholitzii and lueddemanniana species and their hybrid.

Hahaha I am glad I am not the only one with a sea of green as Rangiku puts it  . Spikes yes, flowers no! It is most annoying when people who don't really do orchids assume that with so many, there must be loads of flowers (more then 5 seems to counts as lots to most non collectors)...then they wonder why I have so many if they do so little  . It is a strange addiction  .

 Have 2 more light stands with at least 3 shelves I could set up. Got the shelving units during last year's Cyber Monday sale at Lowe's.

And, did say 100+ orchids, but it's probably closer to 200 than 100. Have to resist during orchid shows in January and February.

I've been eyeing the micholitzii you have.....and trying to decide on a lueddemanniana...

Yes both are good growers with good color. I am sure thousands of these are made so they will go where people like them.
