Posting Pictures

Post by Ben Belton » Thu Mar 13, 2008 8:45 pm

Since I have posted 1 or 2 or 200 pictures here, Peter asked me if I had some suggestions for people who wanted to post their pictures but weren't sure how. It's spring and everyone's plants are coming into bloom. So I threw a little something together. I left out a lot of detail so it would not be 100 pages long. If anyone can help describe how other photo editing programs work or how you upload pictures in your personal web space, please add it here. We might add it to the original article. I hope it helps. Post your questions and comments so we can make it more complete. We'll eventually move it over to Peter's server when we are satified with it. Everyone here has great plants!!

I WANT TO SEE ORCHID PICTURES YOU LURKERS OUT THERE!!!! :onfire:

Ben

HERE is another thread where I tried to help with some information with posting pictures.

Great job Ben! Fantastic guide, I learned something new too about that black cloth. I crop my images if possible, yet it never ocured to me that you don't need a 8'x8' black cloth to backdrop it!

Ben this is great! Thankyou. It certainly took some time to put this together. I have read this once but ofcourse will need to read again and again until I get it right. You make it seem so easy. :D Will I be able to print this guide?

Yes, you can print to a free pdf printer driver - so that you end up with a pdf file that you can refer to offlin (not connect to the Internet)

You, Sir Ben, are a credit to our species. Excuse me, the alien "phalaenopsis" beings are calling for my attention. I will try to post some photos soon, once they are done with me.

Thanks Ben for putting this together. You did a great job with pictures and all. I tried making a web page earlier this week but it didn't go thru for some reason. I'm going to try again in the afternoon and if I have any problems you'll be hearing from me. Thanks again.
